Chapter 1Service and coverage
What can I book with Aruba Airport Transfers?

You can book a private airport transfer, a private point-to-point island ride, or a private driver by the hour. Airport transfers can be one way or round trip. Ordinary eligible rides more than 24 hours ahead confirm after successful booking submission. The four Christmas and New Year holiday dates have a separate availability-confirmation process.

Link to this answer
Are these private rides or shared shuttles?

These are private transfers for your party, not shared shuttles. Tell us your full passenger and luggage details so the team can arrange the vehicle fit. A reservation confirmation does not by itself promise particular equipment or guarantee every combination of people and bags will fit.

Link to this answer
Which airport does the service cover?

The airport service covers transfers to and from Aruba Airport (AUA). Choose From airport, To airport, or Round trip, and give the exact address of your hotel, villa, or other stay.

Link to this answer
Can you take us to Arikok National Park?

Arikok National Park is excluded from the island-transfer service. Do not select a nearby area to bypass that exclusion. Contact the team if you need help finding a suitable alternative.

Link to this answer
Is a private driver the same as a guided sightseeing tour?

No. The private-driver service provides a driver by the hour and is not a guided sightseeing tour. If you want a guided tour, ask about Aruba Sightseeing Tours so the team can help you choose the appropriate service.

Link to this answer
Can I use the website for a route or address that is not listed?

Give the exact pickup and destination addresses. An unlisted route needs an agreed price before a new reservation can be completed under the approved final-price booking policy. A missing area is not evidence that the ride is unavailable, and it is not permission to apply the cheapest listed fare.

Link to this answer
What time zone should I use for dates and times?

Use Aruba local time, America/Aruba (UTC−4), for all trip dates, pickup times, and flight times entered in the booking form. Check the local date carefully for flights shortly after midnight.

Link to this answer
Does the website picture guarantee the exact vehicle or driver?

No. The artwork is illustrative. Vehicle and driver assignments depend on the confirmed arrangement. Tell the team about any requirement that matters to your party and check the actual confirmation.

Chapter 2Contact and help
How can I contact the team?

Use Send us a message on the website, email info@arubayourway.com, or call (305) 424-8326. Telephone hours are 6am–4pm daily, Aruba time. We respond to messages within 24 hours. For an existing booking, replying to its email keeps the booking context together. Telephone hours do not establish vehicle operating hours.

Link to this answer
What should I include when asking about an existing ride?

Include your booking reference, travel date, which ride you mean, and a concise description of the issue or requested change. Use the booking email where possible. Do not include full card details or bank security codes.

Link to this answer
Do telephone hours mean rides only run from 6am to 4pm?

No. The 6am–4pm hours describe telephone availability. Prearranged rides can run from 6am into the late evening, with pickups after 10pm needing advance coordination. This is not a 24-hour emergency desk or on-demand service. Use the contact details for your assigned driver and follow the confirmed pickup arrangement.

Link to this answer
What exact steps should a guest take if no driver appears or the driver does not answer?

First call or message the assigned driver using the details in your pickup email. You may also contact the team on (305) 424-8326 during its published hours, but there is no separate 24-hour support desk. For a hotel or island pickup, give the driver the agreed 15-minute grace period. If we are more than 15 minutes late and you arrange another ride, we do not charge for the unprovided transfer. Let the driver or team know what happened and keep the timing and messages.

Chapter 3Booking and confirmation
How far ahead should I request a ride?

Book at least 24 hours ahead. We do not offer an on-demand or guaranteed last-minute booking service. Ordinary eligible rides more than 24 hours in the future confirm after successful submission. Rides on December 24, December 25, December 31 and January 1 require availability confirmation within 24 hours. All dates and times are local to Aruba.

Link to this answer
When is my booking actually confirmed?

Read the successful booking result and confirmation email. Under the approved final-price booking policy, you review the full fare and securely save a card before submitting a reservation. Ordinary airport, island and private-driver rides more than 24 hours ahead then confirm immediately. December 24, December 25, December 31 and January 1 require availability confirmation within 24 hours. Each ride in a round trip has its own status. A quote, draft or saved card alone is not a confirmed booking. The day before each confirmed ride, we email the driver’s name, phone number and detailed meeting instructions.

Link to this answer
What happens when my ride needs a custom quote?

A new reservation needs an agreed final price and a successfully saved card under the approved final-price booking policy. Do not treat an estimate or an unanswered pricing request as a reservation. If you already hold a booking made under the earlier fare-pending process, use its actual confirmation and have the quoted fare agreed before payment; existing accepted arrangements are preserved.

Link to this answer
What information should I have ready?

Have your travel dates, pickup time, passenger count, checked and cabin bag counts, exact addresses, name, email, and phone number with country code ready. Airport rides also need flight details. Describe child seats, oversized items, accessibility needs, or other requirements before the team confirms suitability.

Link to this answer
Why does a special request need a review?

Child seats, oversized bags and accessibility requirements can affect the equipment arrangement. Describe what you need before booking and check the specific arrangement. A reservation confirmation does not itself guarantee a particular child seat, a ramp-equipped vehicle or suitability for every combination of people and bags. Child seats are free, with advance notice needed for availability.

Link to this answer
Can a displayed quote guarantee an available ride?

A displayed quote calculates the price; it does not reserve a ride. Under the approved final-price booking policy, ordinary eligible rides more than 24 hours ahead confirm after successful submission with the agreed fare and saved card. December 24, December 25, December 31 and January 1 still require availability confirmation within 24 hours. Read the actual booking result and each ride’s status.

Link to this answer
What hours and days do transfers actually operate, including public holidays and overnight arrivals?

Transfers can be arranged from 6am into the late evening throughout the year. Late-night pickups, including after dinner or clubbing, must be arranged in advance; pickups after 10pm need advance coordination. This is not an on-demand or 24-hour phone service. The four Christmas/New Year dates remain subject to availability confirmation.

Link to this answer
How far in advance can guests book, and are there seasonal closures, blackout dates, or capacity restrictions?

There is no business-policy limit on how far ahead you may book. It is best to have your flights and accommodation arranged first. Major holidays have limited availability, so book well ahead. Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day require availability confirmation within 24 hours.

Link to this answer
What should guests do if no confirmation arrives, an email bounces, or the response takes longer than 24 hours?

Check your spam folder and the booking result first. If a confirmation or driver-details email is missing, contact the team with the existing reference instead of submitting another booking. Phone hours are 6am–4pm daily, Aruba time; messages are answered within 24 hours. A failed card entry is not a completed booking, while an uncertain submission needs its status checked before retrying.

Link to this answer
Chapter 4Round trips
Can I book arrival and return airport rides together?

Yes. Choose Round trip to request both airport rides in one booking. You enter one contact and save one card for the booking, and the arrival and departure rides share one booking reference. Each ride still has its own date, time, route, price, and confirmation details.

Link to this answer
Do we need two booking forms or two card setups for a round trip?

No. The round-trip form collects both rides together with shared contact details and one card setup when needed. Booking messages present both rides together. Read each ride’s status: an ordinary-date ride can be confirmed while a holiday ride awaits availability confirmation.

Link to this answer
Can the return have a different hotel, passenger count, or luggage?

Yes. Open Different details for your departure in the planner to enter a different departure area, passenger count, or bag counts. Give the exact departure pickup address when prompted. Both ride prices are reviewed together before you request the booking.

Link to this answer
Will the same driver handle both rides?

Each ride can have its own assigned driver and pickup instructions. Booking a round trip does not guarantee the same driver for arrival and departure. Follow the instructions supplied for each ride.

Link to this answer
What if only one of our two rides is available?

The team must offer the available arrangement for your explicit agreement. The booking must not silently become a one-way ride. Review which ride is included, its details, and the total before accepting the offer.

Link to this answer
Can I change or cancel just the return ride?

Contact the team and identify the affected ride using your booking reference and date. The 60-minute change and cancellation policy applies to each affected ride separately. Do not assume a change to one ride automatically changes the other.

Link to this answer
How should we add a return ride to an existing one-way booking?

If you booked one way and later want a return, make a new one-way booking on the website for the other direction. Use your contact details and enter the departure flight, pickup time and address. These will be two separate bookings. If you book both airport rides together from the start, choose Round trip for one combined booking reference.

Link to this answer
If the return date is unknown, should guests book one way first or can we hold an open return?

Book the first one-way ride now and book the return separately once the date and time are known. We do not hold an open-dated return. Each later booking has its own quoted price and booking requirements.

Link to this answer
Can one booking cover travelers arriving on different flights, or groups splitting on the return?

Travelers arriving on different flights can choose to wait for each other and ride together. Supply all flight numbers and identify the latest arrival used for the planned group pickup. If travelers want separate pickups rather than waiting together, book separate rides, each with its own fare. A standard-area airport ride starts at $60 before the rounded 9% addition for up to four passengers; other areas have different fares.

Link to this answer
Chapter 5Prices and fees
How much is a standard airport transfer?

The standard airport base price for each passenger van is $60 for up to four occupants, plus $15 for each additional occupant through nine. Add 9%, rounded to whole dollars separately for each passenger van, then add the van totals for that ride. A $60 base van costs $65. For airport parties of 10–16, passengers are split as evenly as possible between two vans. The overflow luggage vehicle included for 8–9 or 15–16 passengers has no extra charge.

Link to this answer
Which airport destinations have the higher published fare?

Gold Coast and everything farther north, including Malmok, Tierra del Sol and the northern tip, plus Savaneta, San Nicolas and Baby Beach, use a base airport fare of $120 per passenger van for up to four occupants, plus $20 for each additional occupant through nine. Add 9%, rounded to whole dollars separately for each van, then add the van totals. Groups of 10–16 use two vans with passengers split as evenly as possible. The overflow luggage vehicle for 8–9 or 15–16 passengers is free. Give the exact address so the correct area is used.

Link to this answer
How is the 9% addition calculated, including on a round trip?

Prices are in USD. Each passenger van adds 9% to its base fare, rounded to the nearest whole dollar; add the van totals for each ride. A $60 base van adds $5 and costs $65; a $120 base van adds $11 and costs $131. Two airport rides each using one $60-base van total $130. There is no round-trip discount. The overflow luggage vehicle is free. Waiting $15, meet-and-greet $25 and the hourly extension $125 per van are final extra amounts; do not add another 9% to those extras.

Link to this answer
Are tips included or required?

Gratuity is optional. The published 9% tax and card addition is separate from an optional tip. Ask the team if you want to arrange a particular way of tipping; no specific tipping payment method is established here.

Link to this answer
Can arrival and departure have different prices?

Yes. Each ride has its own fare based on route, passenger count and vehicle arrangement. Calculate the rounded 9% addition separately for each passenger van, then sum the vans for that ride and the two ride totals for a round trip. A different departure address or group size can change that ride’s price. Review both totals before booking; a later change to one ride must not silently reprice the other.

Link to this answer
Are there any extra charges beyond the published fare and 9% addition?

The agreed ride fare includes its stated 9% addition. Waiting beyond the applicable free period costs $15 for each started additional 30 minutes. An arranged airport meet-and-greet with a name sign costs $25. An agreed private-driver extension costs $125 per van for each started extra hour; if both vans extend, the extra is $250 per started hour. These are final extra amounts with no further 9% added. Child seats are free. Extra journeys or a changed route can have a separate agreed fare; grocery shopping is not an included waiting stop.

Link to this answer
Are there transfer-specific child discounts, round-trip discounts, resident rates, or other promotions?

There is no standard transfer discount for children, residents or round trips. Every traveler counts toward capacity. Booking both airport rides together is convenient, but it does not apply a round-trip discount.

Link to this answer
How are ambiguous addresses, border areas, Tierra del Sol, and new developments assigned to fare areas?

Provide the correct full address; a location pin is helpful for island pickups. For airport transfers, Gold Coast and everything farther north, including Malmok, Tierra del Sol and California Lighthouse, are outside the standard Noord airport fare and use the higher $120 base tier. For island transfers, all these northern-tip places are Zone 1. The service determines which rate table applies. A broad hotel-area selection does not override the exact address. Unlisted route prices must be checked rather than inferred from the cheapest nearby zone.

Link to this answer
Can we take guests to multiple hotels, make a grocery stop, or wait for an errand during an airport ride?

A transfer can drop guests at multiple hotels when the stops are in the same direction and are arranged in advance. Destinations in opposite parts of the island require separate transfers. Grocery shopping is not a waiting stop: book the two journeys separately. A quick errand on the route taking less than a minute may be possible; longer stops need a separate arrangement. Do not add a shopping wait by assuming the airport waiting allowance covers it.

Chapter 6Payment and card saving
Will I be charged when I save my card?

No payment is taken when you save your card. You authorize Aruba Your Way to save it for this booking and charge the agreed price for each ride on its service day, or an applicable late-cancellation or no-show amount. Saving a card is not confirmation of availability.

Link to this answer
When do I pay for a round trip?

Payment is due on the service day of each ride. The arrival and departure rides have their own prices and payment records. Booking them together does not mean both rides are charged when the card is saved.

Link to this answer
What business name appears on my card statement?

Charges for this booking appear as BRUMMELL AND FOGG LLC. If an amount or timing looks wrong, contact the team with the booking reference and transaction date. Never email your full card number or security code.

Link to this answer
Who handles my card details?

Stripe handles card entry and securely stores the card. The booking system receives a Stripe reference and limited details such as brand, last four digits, and expiry. It does not receive or store your full card number or security code. Your bank may require authentication.

Link to this answer
Can I send my card details in an email or message?

Please use the secure card-entry process. Do not send a full card number, security code, password, or bank authentication code in a message. If you have trouble with the card step, contact the team without including those details.

Link to this answer
Which payment methods and card types are actually accepted for transfers?

Debit cards, credit cards, Link wallet and cash are accepted. If you intend to pay cash, arrange it with the team so the saved card is not also charged. Enter card information only through the secure payment flow. A cash arrangement does not automatically waive the online reservation’s card requirement or reduce the agreed fare.

Link to this answer
Can someone else pay or book for the traveler, and what authorization do we need?

Someone else can book or pay for a traveler. Tell us who is booking, who is traveling and how to reach the traveler for pickup. Card saving and any payment authorization must be completed by the authorized cardholder through the secure flow. Being a companion or third-party booker does not automatically authorize access to every traveler’s private information.

Link to this answer
Can a payment be split between travelers or cards, and can we provide a corporate invoice?

The team can arrange separate secure payment links or invoices when travelers need to split payment. A PDF invoice can also be provided. Request the arrangement and the required invoice details in advance; the booking form does not promise a self-service split-card checkout.

Chapter 7Changes and cancellation
What is the free change or cancellation deadline?

Changes and cancellation are free until 60 minutes before the affected ride’s pickup. For a round trip, apply the deadline to the ride being changed or canceled. Contact the team promptly using the booking email or info@arubayourway.com.

Link to this answer
What happens with a late cancellation or no-show?

Later cancellations and no-shows are charged in full. For hotel and island pickups, a guest who does not appear or respond for 15 minutes after the agreed pickup can be a no-show. A communicating guest instead has 30 minutes free waiting, then $15 for each started extra half-hour. Airport arrivals have a separate one-hour allowance from actual landing. Airline disruption has its own rescheduling exception. Apply the terms accepted for the affected booking.

Link to this answer
How do I ask to change or cancel my booking?

Reply to the booking email or email info@arubayourway.com promptly. Include your booking reference, the affected ride and date, and the change you need. A new address, time, passenger count, or requirement may need the team to check the price and suitability again. A support reply should not claim the record has changed until the team has actually processed it.

Link to this answer
How are changes handled inside 60 minutes: are they automatically a full charge, or can staff agree a change?

Changes or cancellation received at least 60 minutes before the affected pickup are free. Later ordinary changes or cancellations incur the full original fare; a different ride is a new booking. The approved airline-disruption exception permits a no-extra-charge reschedule inside that window, not a refund under the new policy. Prearranged dinner-return time changes have their own notice rule. Preserve the terms accepted by existing bookings.

Link to this answer
When a refund is due, what is the actual process and expected timing?

When a refund is due, Thalia issues it within 48 hours. The bank or card issuer may take longer to show the money in your account. An issued refund and a posted bank credit are different stages; ask the team about an existing refund using the booking reference.

Link to this answer
Chapter 8Flight changes
What if my flight is canceled?

Tell us promptly if your airline cancels or reschedules your flight. With at least 60 minutes’ notice before pickup, normal free cancellation or change applies. Inside that window, the newly approved policy allows a no-extra-charge reschedule of the affected airport ride, but no cash refund for the last-minute cancellation. Agree the replacement pickup with the team and say whether the other round-trip ride should remain unchanged. Existing bookings retain their accepted terms, including any earlier canceled-flight refund provision.

Link to this answer
What if my flight time or flight number changes?

Give the correct flight number and tell us if its number, date or route changes. The assigned driver tracks the flight, with backup team checks, but tracking can lag. Message when you land and when you are ready for pickup. Arrival pickup can follow actual flight progress; a departure flight delay does not automatically mean you should leave for the airport later.

Link to this answer
Do we monitor flights ourselves? If so, who monitors them, from when, and what changes trigger action?

Your flight number is checked during planning and supplied to the assigned driver, who is responsible for tracking the flight. The team also performs backup checks. Give the correct flight number and tell us if the airline changes your flight, date or routing. Flight tracking can be delayed or inaccurate; message your driver when you land and again when you are ready for pickup.

Link to this answer
If the flight lands early or late, how is pickup adjusted and what must the guest do?

The driver uses the actual flight progress to adjust arrival pickup if your flight lands earlier or later. Message the driver if you land early or receive a changed flight number, date or routing, because tracking information may lag. Overnight changes may require a different driver. Confirm the revised arrangement with the team rather than assuming the original driver remains available.

Link to this answer
What evidence and notice do we ask for when a flight is canceled, and how do we handle the other ride in a round trip?

Tell us as soon as the airline cancels or reschedules your flight. Send the flight number, revised travel plan and any readily available airline notice. With at least 60 minutes’ notice before pickup, the normal free cancellation/change policy applies. Inside that window, airline disruption allows the affected transfer to be rescheduled without an additional charge; it does not provide a cash refund under the newly approved policy. Specify whether any return ride should stay booked. Existing bookings retain the terms accepted when booked.

Link to this answer
Chapter 9Airport arrivals
Where do we meet the driver?

The day before each confirmed ride, we email your driver’s name, phone number, and detailed meeting instructions. Read the instructions for your particular ride and use the supplied contact details. Those instructions take precedence over a general illustration or example. Contact the team if you need help finding your pickup details.

Link to this answer
What are the current standard arrival instructions?

The standard arrival instructions are to text your driver after collecting your luggage. The driver waits nearby and then drives to the pickup zone. After exiting the terminal, look across toward the car-rental signs; the pickup zone is opposite those signs, on the middle lane. Your driver’s name, phone number, and detailed meeting instructions arrive by email the day before the confirmed ride. Staff can edit these instructions, so always follow the version supplied for your own ride.

Link to this answer
Do all commercial arrivals use that same meeting point, or are there terminal, airline, mobility, or late-night exceptions?

All commercial arriving passengers use the same arrivals exit, regardless of their origin. Follow the pickup instructions emailed for your ride; special assistance or an agreed inside-terminal meeting may change your individual arrangement.

Link to this answer
When and how do guests receive the driver’s name and phone number?

We email your driver’s name, phone number and detailed meeting instructions the day before each confirmed ride. Check your spam folder if the email is missing. Contact the team with your existing booking reference rather than making another booking.

Link to this answer
Should guests text by SMS, WhatsApp, or either, and what should the message say?

WhatsApp is the preferred way to reach your assigned driver. Free airport Wi-Fi can help if you have no mobile data. You can also call or send an SMS. Once you have collected your luggage and are ready to come out, tell the driver you are ready and identify yourself using your name or booking reference.

Link to this answer
What should a guest do if they have no mobile data, cannot send a text, or their phone has died?

Charge your phone before traveling and save or print your booking reference and driver contact details. If mobile data is unavailable, try the airport’s free Wi-Fi and WhatsApp. If your phone is dead or you cannot connect, stay inside the arrivals hall and ask a companion or airport staff to help you call your assigned driver. An inside-hall meeting must be arranged with the driver; there is no staffed company airport desk or guaranteed after-hours office response. Do not walk between traffic lanes looking for the vehicle.

Link to this answer
What happens if the guest cannot find the pickup zone or reaches the wrong lane?

Call or message your assigned driver. If needed, arrange to wait inside the arrivals hall while the driver parks and comes to meet you; this takes longer than curbside collection. Do not expect the driver to be standing in the terminal unless an inside meeting was arranged. For the normal pickup, contact the driver when you are ready to come out so the vehicle can approach the agreed pickup zone.

Link to this answer
How much arrival waiting is included, and exactly when does that clock start?

An airport-arrival transfer includes one hour of waiting from the flight’s actual landing time. After that, waiting costs $15 for each started additional 30 minutes. That $15 is the final extra charge, with no further 9% addition. For example, leaving 1 hour and 31 minutes after landing adds $30. Stay in contact with the driver if immigration or baggage delays you.

Link to this answer
What is the procedure and price if immigration, customs, lost luggage, or baggage delivery takes longer?

Tell your driver promptly if immigration, customs or baggage collection is taking longer. One hour from actual landing is included; each started additional half-hour costs $15 total. The driver and team need to agree continued waiting or a replacement arrangement if the delay is prolonged. A guest who is communicating about a delay is different from someone who cannot be reached. Grocery shopping is not covered by this waiting allowance.

Link to this answer
When may an arrival guest be treated as a no-show, and what contact attempts must happen first?

If the driver has not heard from you 30 minutes after actual landing, they will try to call or message you. If an hour passes after landing without a reply or contact, the driver may leave and the ride is treated as a no-show, charged in full. Contact the driver if you are held up in immigration or baggage collection so the delay can be handled as waiting. Airport-arrival waiting is different from a hotel or island pickup.

Link to this answer
Do we offer a name sign, inside-terminal meet-and-greet, porter help, or curbside collection only?

Standard airport pickup is curbside after you contact your driver. An inside-terminal meet-and-greet with a name sign can be arranged in advance for an additional $25 total, with no further 9% addition. Curbside pickup usually avoids the walk with luggage to the parking area and the delay while the driver pays for parking. Follow the meeting arrangement confirmed for your booking.

Link to this answer
Chapter 10Airport departures
What details do you need for the ride back to the airport?

Provide the exact pickup address, pickup date and time, departure flight date and time, and flight number. The pickup and flight dates may be different for an overnight departure. You are responsible for accurate travel details; ask the team to help arrange pickup if you are unsure.

Link to this answer
How do I enter a flight just after midnight?

Use the actual local flight date and a separate pickup date and time. For example, a flight at 00:30 on Tuesday may require pickup on Monday; the team must help determine an appropriate pickup time. Do not change the flight date merely to make it match the pickup date.

Link to this answer
How early should I leave for my flight?

Work backward from your airline’s airport-arrival instruction and allow the road journey from your address. Aruba Airport uses a three-hour check-in entry window for U.S.-bound flights. Its other-departure guidance includes two-to-three hours and a three-hour recommendation; do not assume two hours is enough for every non-U.S. flight. Traffic and property access can affect the drive. Check current airport and airline instructions for your flight.

Link to this answer
What pickup-time guidance should we give for US-bound flights versus other destinations?

Plan your pickup by subtracting the road journey from the airport-arrival time recommended for your flight. For U.S.-bound travel, Aruba Airport uses a three-hour check-in entry window and does not allow entry earlier than that window. For other destinations, the airport publishes two-to-three-hour guidance and also recommends three hours on its non-U.S. advisory; follow your airline’s current instruction rather than assuming two hours is always enough. Allow for traffic and your property’s pickup arrangements.

Link to this answer
What travel-time ranges should support use from the main areas, and when should extra time be added?

Typical road-time estimates to the airport are around 20 minutes from Palm Beach or Eagle Beach, 15 minutes from Oranjestad, 25–30 minutes from Tierra del Sol, 30 minutes from Savaneta, and 35–45 minutes from Baby Beach. Your exact address, traffic, road closures and holidays can change the journey. These are drive-time estimates, not airport check-in buffers or guaranteed travel times.

Link to this answer
Who checks the guest’s chosen pickup time before confirming, and what happens if it is too late?

The team checks departure pickup against the flight details and can suggest an earlier pickup for your agreement if the chosen time appears too late. Your pickup and flight date/time are separate, especially for overnight flights. The team should obtain your agreement before changing the pickup. A confirmed transfer is not a guarantee that a late airport arrival will be accepted by the airline.

Link to this answer
Where should guests wait at hotels, resorts, condos, and private villas?

At hotels, resorts and condos, be ready outside the agreed lobby. At a private villa, be ready outside the main entrance. Give the exact address and tell us about gates, security access or multiple lobbies so the driver knows the agreed meeting place. Keep your phone available for the driver’s call or message.

Link to this answer
How long will the driver wait at a hotel or island pickup, and when is it a no-show?

For hotel, villa and island pickups, be ready at the agreed time. The driver usually arrives a few minutes early and will call or message you. If you do not appear or respond during the 15 minutes after the agreed pickup time, the driver may leave and the ride is a no-show, charged in full. If you stay in contact and agree the delay with the driver, waiting is free for up to 30 minutes from the agreed pickup time; each started additional half-hour costs $15 total, with no further 9% addition. Early driver arrival does not start the clock early. You must also allow the driver 15 minutes: leaving before that grace period can be a no-show. If we are more than 15 minutes late and you take another ride, there is no charge for our unprovided transfer. Airport arrivals have their own waiting rule.

Link to this answer
Should guests reconfirm the return, and do we send a reminder or driver details before it?

We email a reminder and the driver’s name, phone number and meeting instructions the day before the return ride. Keep the return details current and contact us if anything changes. Each leg of an airport round trip has its own driver details and status.

Link to this answer
What if a departure flight is delayed after the pickup time has been agreed?

Tell us if your departure flight is delayed, but do not automatically move pickup later. Aruba Airport currently instructs departing passengers to arrive based on the original scheduled flight time. Check with the airline before requesting a different pickup, and agree any change with the team; a different driver may be needed.

Link to this answer
What do we do if a vehicle problem, traffic delay, or our own mistake risks a missed flight?

If a vehicle or driver problem prevents the planned pickup, the team will try to arrange a replacement and communicate the revised plan. If we cannot provide the ride, it is not charged and any amount already paid for the unprovided service is refunded. For hotel or island pickups, if we are more than 15 minutes late and you arrange another ride, we do not charge for our transfer. We do not promise a guaranteed replacement time or compensation for missed flights or unrelated costs.

Link to this answer
Can the driver help with luggage at pickup or drop-off, and where does that help stop?

Guests are generally responsible for their own luggage. Tell us in advance if you need physical help so the team can arrange someone able to assist. Do not assume help inside a property, on stairs, at airline check-in or through airport security is included.

Link to this answer
Can we collect from or drop at private aviation, cruise ports, ferry points, or another terminal?

A pickup can be arranged near the cruise terminal, outside its restricted terminal area. Agree the exact accessible meeting point in advance. Road transfers to De Palm Island use the pier; they do not provide the boat journey or admission. Private aviation and other terminal services are not established standard options.

Chapter 11Passengers and luggage
Do babies and children count as travelers?

All travelers count toward passenger capacity, including babies and children. Enter everyone in the passenger count and describe any child-seat requirements. Do not assume lap travel is approved or that the vehicle’s available luggage space is unchanged when seats are added.

Link to this answer
What luggage information should I provide?

Enter checked-bag and cabin-bag counts. Mention oversized items, strollers, sports equipment, and mobility equipment so the team can arrange the actual vehicle fit. A bag-count field is not a published size or weight allowance, and reservation confirmation does not guarantee particular equipment will fit.

Is a quoted passenger count a guarantee that our bags will fit?

No. Enter your full party, bag counts and special-equipment details. Airport groups of 1–7 use one van; 8–9 add a free luggage vehicle; 10–14 use two passenger vans; 15–16 use two passenger vans plus the free luggage vehicle. That extra vehicle carries overflow, with other bags remaining in the vans. Oversized items, child seats and mobility equipment still need a suitable arrangement; a passenger count does not guarantee unlimited luggage or specialist access.

Can I request a ride for more than nine people?

Yes. The party limit is 16, including children. Airport groups of 10–14 use two passenger vans; groups of 15–16 use two passenger vans plus a free overflow luggage vehicle. Split the party as evenly as possible between the vans. It remains one guest booking with the vans itemized within the ride. Give accurate bag counts and oversized-item details so the arrangement is suitable.

Which vehicles do we actually use, and what are their passenger limits with realistic luggage loads?

A Hyundai Staria is a usual vehicle, but a substitute or partner van may be a different make or model. For airport travel with luggage: 1–7 passengers use one passenger van; 8–9 use one passenger van plus a free luggage vehicle; 10–14 use two passenger vans; and 15–16 use two passenger vans plus a free luggage vehicle. The luggage vehicle carries overflow while the vans carry the bags that fit. Enter accurate bag counts and describe oversized items; this is not an unlimited-luggage promise.

Can guests choose or guarantee a vehicle model, and do we use substitute vehicles or partners?

A van is provided unless you specifically arrange another vehicle. The exact brand or model may change when a substitute or partner supplies the service. Ask about any access or equipment requirement that matters to your party; an illustration is not a model guarantee.

What counts as a checked bag, cabin bag, or oversized item for our fit checks?

Give checked-bag and cabin-bag counts and describe bulky items with useful dimensions. There is no published universal size or weight allowance. The airport arrangement includes a free overflow luggage vehicle for 8–9 or 15–16 passengers. For 1–7 or 10–14, bags travel in the assigned passenger van or vans. A count alone does not guarantee unusually large items fit, and the luggage vehicle is not assumed to carry every bag from two full vans.

Which sports or bulky items can we carry, and what are the rules or charges?

Sports equipment, strollers and other bulky items can be carried when they fit the available luggage space. Tell us what you are bringing before booking and give dimensions when useful. There is no blanket promise that every surfboard, bicycle, golf bag or other oversized item fits, and no general oversized-item charge has been established.

What happens if the actual passengers or bags exceed the confirmed arrangement?

Enter everyone traveling, including children, and accurate bag counts. Extra travelers or bags not included in the booking may not fit the assigned vehicle. Do not rely on an extra vehicle being available at pickup; tell the team about changes in advance so any revised arrangement and price can be agreed.

Chapter 12Children and accessibility
Can I request a child seat?

Yes. Child seats are free. Request them at least three business days in advance and give each child’s age and relevant size details. With less notice, a suitable seat already available may be provided, but a rental cannot be guaranteed. The team must confirm the actual seat arrangement; ordinary reservation confirmation does not itself guarantee a particular seat. You may bring your own suitable seat.

Link to this answer
Can you accommodate mobility or accessibility needs?

Our standard vehicles have no ramp or lift. Passengers must transfer into a vehicle seat independently or with help from their own companion. Drivers can offer ordinary safe entry/exit help, but not lifting, personal care or wheelchair-to-seat transfers. Tell us about folding chairs and other equipment before booking so space can be checked. A specialist-vehicle requirement needs explicit confirmation before acceptance.

Link to this answer
How far ahead must a child seat be requested, and how is its availability explicitly confirmed?

Request child seats at least three business days before the ride. They are free. With less notice, the team can use a suitable seat it already has, but may not be able to obtain a rental. Provide the child’s age and relevant size details, and have the actual seat arrangement confirmed. Do not assume an ordinary booking confirmation guarantees a particular seat.

Link to this answer
Who supplies, installs, checks, and adjusts child seats, and may guests bring their own?

The team supplies and installs a requested child seat when arranged in advance. You may also bring your own suitable seat. Tell us beforehand so there is space and the vehicle arrangement can be checked. Give the child’s age and the size details needed to select an appropriate seat.

Link to this answer
Can passengers remain in a wheelchair, or must they transfer into a vehicle seat?

Passengers must transfer into an ordinary vehicle seat. Our standard vehicles have no wheelchair ramp or lift, so passengers cannot remain in their wheelchair during the ride. Tell us in advance if a specialist vehicle is required so the team can determine whether the job can be accepted. A standard transfer confirmation does not establish specialist vehicle availability.

Link to this answer
What mobility equipment can be carried, and what details should we collect before confirming?

Tell us before booking if you are bringing a folding wheelchair or other mobility equipment so space can be checked. Give practical dimensions and weight where needed. Folding-chair space must be arranged; mobility scooters, batteries and other equipment are not automatically accepted by the standard-van service.

Link to this answer
What physical assistance can drivers provide, and when must a companion or specialist transport be arranged?

Standard transfers include ordinary help entering and leaving the vehicle where the driver can do so safely. They do not include lifting a person, wheelchair-to-seat transfers, personal care or medical assistance. You must be able to transfer into a vehicle seat independently or bring a companion able to assist.

How should we support guests with hearing, vision, sensory, language, or cognitive access needs?

Tell us your preferred way to communicate and any practical pickup adjustment that would help. We can ask the driver to use clear written messages, an agreed landmark, extra explanation and a quiet, patient approach. A companion may help communicate if you want. We do not promise a sign-language interpreter, a particular language beyond confirmed English, a silent vehicle or specialist support.

Can a child book or travel without an adult?

The person making and accepting the booking must be at least 18. Travelers under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult; this is not an unaccompanied-minor escort service. Count every child as a passenger and arrange an appropriate restraint rather than a lap seat. These are our business requirements.

Chapter 13Island rides
How are island-transfer fares calculated?

Island fares are one-way, per passenger van. Each base covers up to four occupants; the extra-person amount applies to occupants five through nine in that van:

  • Within any one zone: $50 base + $10 per extra occupant.
  • Zone 1 ↔ Zone 2: $60 + $15.
  • Zone 1 ↔ Zone 3: $100 + $20.
  • Zone 1 ↔ Zone 4: $120 + $25.
  • Zone 2 ↔ Zone 3: $100 + $20.
  • Zone 2 ↔ Zone 4: $120 + $25.
  • Zone 3 ↔ Zone 4: $100 + $20.

For 10–16 travelers, split the party as evenly as possible across two vans and calculate each van from its occupants. Add 9%, rounded separately per van, then sum the ride. Give exact addresses. Actual airport pickups and drop-offs use the separate airport fare table, not the island Zone 2 rate.

Link to this answer
Which areas are in the island form’s published zones?

For island transfers, Zone 1 includes Palm Beach, Eagle Beach, Noord, Oranjestad, Tierra del Sol, Gold Coast, Malmok and the entire northern tip through California Lighthouse; the airport area as Zone 2; and Savaneta, De Palm Island, Donkey Sanctuary, and Varadero under the southern Zone 3 choices. San Nicolas/Baby Beach is Zone 4. These broad area choices are not exact address boundaries or an admission/ferry promise. Unknown locations need team review.

Link to this answer
Is an island ride automatically a round trip?

An island transfer is a point-to-point ride. The dedicated paired round-trip form is for airport transfers. Arrange an island return separately; do not assume waiting or another journey is included in a one-way fare. For a prearranged dinner return, agree the approximate time and place at drop-off, and give at least 30 minutes’ notice of a time change, ideally an hour.

What destinations or road conditions besides Arikok are excluded or require special arrangements?

Standard vans use roads they can safely access. Arikok National Park is excluded, as are remote locations that require a 4x4, including some north-coast beaches. Give the exact destination and any gate or access information. A broad island coverage statement does not guarantee every track, beach or restricted entrance is accessible.

Link to this answer
What is included in a point-to-point ride, and how are stops, waiting, detours, or changed destinations priced?

A point-to-point fare covers the agreed pickup and destination. A changed destination in the same fare zone can become the new endpoint; another zone may change the price, which must be agreed and settled with the driver. Transfers do not include stopping and waiting for shopping. A private driver by the hour allows stops, detours and destination changes within the reserved time and safe service area. For hotel and island pickup delays, communicating guests receive 30 minutes free from the agreed pickup time, then pay $15 for each started additional half-hour. With no response or appearance for 15 minutes, the driver may leave and apply the no-show rule.

Link to this answer
How should we book and price a restaurant/beach return or several island rides on one day?

Arrange the dinner return as a separate ride in advance. At drop-off, agree an approximate return time and meeting place with the driver. If you need to change that time, message by WhatsApp or SMS with as much notice as possible: at least 30 minutes before the agreed pickup, ideally an hour. Do not treat this as a guaranteed on-demand pickup within 20 minutes. If you have no way to communicate, be at the agreed place at the agreed time. Pickups after 10pm must be prearranged.

Link to this answer
Where exactly do we meet at beaches, restaurants, ports, and De Palm Island?

Agree a specific accessible meeting point for a beach, restaurant or port pickup. Transfers for De Palm Island drop off and collect at the pier. The road transfer does not include ferry or boat transport, attraction admission or access through restricted entrances.

Chapter 14Private driver
What is the hourly-driver price and duration range?

The private-driver base rate is $125 per hour per passenger van, for up to nine occupants in each van. Groups of 10–16 use two vans at two hourly base rates. Choose 2–12 hours online. Calculate the reserved-hours base for each van, add the rounded 9% addition per van, then sum the ride. This is transport with a driver, not a guided tour. Extensions require driver availability and an agreed extra price; the extension is $125 per van for each started additional hour as a final amount. If both vans extend, that is $250 per started extra hour with no further 9%.

Link to this answer
When does hourly time start and stop, and is travel to the first pickup or from the final drop-off included?

Hourly time starts with the first pickup and ends at the final drop-off. The driver’s journey to your first pickup and their journey home after the final passenger is dropped off do not use your reserved hours. Time waiting while you shop, eat or visit a stop is part of the hourly service.

Link to this answer
Can guests extend, shorten, or exceed their booked hours, and how is extra time billed?

For the private-driver service, you can request a shorter reservation until 60 minutes before pickup, subject to the booking minimum. Finishing early after the ride begins does not refund unused reserved time. An extension needs the driver’s availability and your agreement; each started extra hour costs $125 per van, with no further 9% added. If both vans extend, the extra is $250 per started hour. Agree the extension before continuing. Point-to-point transfers are separate journeys, so additional stops or journeys are not hourly extensions.

Link to this answer
What can an hourly driver do while guests shop, eat, swim, or visit attractions?

When you book a private driver by the hour, the driver stays with the van while you shop, eat, swim or visit a stop, ready for the next agreed destination. That waiting time is part of the reserved hours. The service supplies a driver, not a guided sightseeing tour.

Link to this answer
What is included or excluded in the hourly price?

The hourly-driver price includes the vehicle, driver, fuel and parking. Gratuity is optional. Attraction admissions, meals, refreshments or a particular onboard amenity are not established inclusions. The service remains subject to the safe-road exclusions and agreed reserved hours.

Link to this answer
Can we use a private driver for airport pickups, weddings, nightlife, events, or multi-day plans?

A private driver can be arranged for airport pickups, weddings, nightlife, events or a multi-day plan. Give the full itinerary and timing in advance so the required arrangement and price can be agreed. The ordinary service limits, safe-road exclusions and holiday confirmation rules still apply.

Link to this answer
Do drivers speak particular languages or provide informal commentary, and can that be requested?

All drivers speak English. Many also speak Dutch, Spanish or Papiamento, but a particular additional language needs confirmation. A private driver is not necessarily a tour guide, and the hourly-driver booking does not promise guided commentary.

Chapter 15Privacy and trust
How is my booking information used?

Your contact details, trip information, requirements, and messages are used to quote, arrange, and support the ride. Authorized team members can access them, and relevant trip and contact details are shared with the assigned driver or service provider. Hosting and database providers store the booking information.

Link to this answer
Does booking subscribe me to marketing?

No. The booking form sends transactional emails to you and the operations team; it does not subscribe you to marketing.

Link to this answer
How can I request a correction or deletion of my information?

Contact info@arubayourway.com to ask about your information or request a correction or deletion. Booking, consent, and transaction records are retained for service, accounting, disputes, and applicable legal requirements, so some records may need to be kept. No specific retention period is established in the current published notice.

What does the website store in my browser?

Essential secure cookies and an opaque request reference in session storage help protect the booking session and recover interrupted submissions. Hosting and security providers may process standard access logs. The request reference is not a reason to share a booking link publicly.

Chapter 16Vehicles and comfort
Are pets and service animals allowed, and under what conditions or charges?

Small pets that fit comfortably in the vehicle, such as a small lap dog, can travel. Service dogs are accepted. Let us know in advance so the vehicle arrangement is suitable. This does not establish a service for large animals or a general animal-transport service.

Link to this answer
Which comfort features are standard versus request-only?

Air conditioning and seatbelts are standard. Water, onboard Wi-Fi, charging ports, particular music and allergy or fragrance arrangements are not established standard inclusions. Ask about a feature you need before relying on it.

Link to this answer
What are the rules for eating, drinking, alcohol, smoking/vaping, wet swimwear, and sand in the vehicle?

Alcohol, smoking and vaping are not allowed in the vehicle. Food, nonalcoholic drinks, wet swimwear and sand are otherwise allowed. Treat the vehicle considerately. No fixed cleaning or damage surcharge is established by this answer.

Can luggage be stored before check-in, after checkout, or while guests stop somewhere?

The transfer service does not provide a general luggage-storage arrangement before check-in or after checkout. If you are staying at Bali Retreat Aruba, ask the property team about your particular luggage arrangement. Do not assume a transfer reservation includes storage or supervision of valuables.

Chapter 17Aftercare
How do guests report an item left in the vehicle, and what is our recovery and return process?

Message your assigned driver as soon as possible if you leave an item in the vehicle. For an item left on a previous day, contact the team with the booking reference and a description of the item. Recovery is not guaranteed; collection or delivery must be arranged once the item is located. Do not assume a particular storage period or free shipping.
