How is the 9% addition calculated, including on a round trip?

All prices are in USD. Each ride adds 9% of its base price, rounded to the nearest whole dollar. A $60 base ride adds $5 and totals $65; a $120 base ride adds $11 and totals $131. A round trip with two $60 base rides totals $130 because each ride is rounded separately. There is no round-trip discount built into this calculation.

What is the hourly-driver price and duration range?

The published private-driver base price is $125 per hour for up to nine passengers, plus the rounded 9% addition. Choose 2–12 hours online. Groups of 10–16 or special arrangements need a custom fare. Ordinary rides more than 24 hours ahead confirm immediately; the four holiday dates require availability confirmation within 24 hours. This is transport with a driver, not a guided sightseeing tour.

Your ride, your way

What can I book with Aruba Airport Transfers?

You can book a private airport transfer, a private point-to-point island ride, or a private driver by the hour. Airport transfers can be one way or round trip. Ordinary rides more than 24 hours ahead confirm immediately after successful booking submission. The four Christmas and New Year holiday dates have a separate availability-confirmation process.

Which airport does the service cover?

The airport service covers transfers to and from Aruba Airport (AUA). Choose From airport, To airport, or Round trip, and give the exact address of your hotel, villa, or other stay.

Can you take us to Arikok National Park?

Arikok National Park is excluded from the island-transfer service. Do not select a nearby area to bypass that exclusion. Contact the team if you need help finding a suitable alternative.

Is a private driver the same as a guided sightseeing tour?

No. The private-driver service provides a driver by the hour and is not a guided sightseeing tour. If you want a guided tour, ask about Aruba Sightseeing Tours so the team can help you choose the appropriate service.

Booking & what happens next

When is my booking actually confirmed?

Read the successful booking result and confirmation email. Ordinary airport, island, and private-driver rides more than 24 hours ahead are confirmed immediately, including rides needing a custom fare or special arrangements. December 24, December 25, December 31, and January 1 require availability confirmation within 24 hours. Each ride in a round trip has its own status. A quote, draft link, or saved card alone is not a confirmed booking. The day before each confirmed ride, we email the driver’s name, phone number, and detailed meeting instructions.

Link to this answer ↗
What happens when my ride needs a custom quote?

You can book with the fare pending. On ordinary dates more than 24 hours ahead, the reservation confirms immediately while the team prepares the custom fare and vehicle arrangements. You must review and approve the final fare before payment; no amount is invented or charged by submitting the request. The holiday confirmation exception still applies. If a card was already saved for this booking, the secure offer-acceptance process can reuse it. Accepting an offer is not itself a charge.

Link to this answer ↗
Will I be charged when I save my card?

No payment is taken when you save your card. You authorize Aruba Your Way to save it for this booking and charge the agreed price for each ride on its service day, or an applicable late-cancellation or no-show amount. Saving a card is not confirmation of availability.

Link to this answer ↗
When do I pay for a round trip?

Payment is due on the service day of each ride. The arrival and departure rides have their own prices and payment records. Booking them together does not mean both rides are charged when the card is saved.

Return trips & changing plans

Can I book arrival and return airport rides together?

Yes. Choose Round trip to request both airport rides in one booking. You enter one contact and save one card for the booking, and the arrival and departure rides share one booking reference. Each ride still has its own date, time, route, price, and confirmation details.

Link to this answer ↗
Can the return have a different hotel, passenger count, or luggage?

Yes. Open Different details for your departure in the planner to enter a different departure area, passenger count, or bag counts. Give the exact departure pickup address when prompted. Both ride prices are reviewed together before you request the booking.

Can I change or cancel just the return ride?

Contact the team and identify the affected ride using your booking reference and date. The 60-minute change and cancellation policy applies to each affected ride separately. Do not assume a change to one ride automatically changes the other.

Link to this answer ↗
What is the free change or cancellation deadline?

Changes and cancellation are free until 60 minutes before the affected ride’s pickup. For a round trip, apply the deadline to the ride being changed or canceled. Contact the team promptly using the booking email or info@arubayourway.com.

What if my flight is canceled?

If the flight for your airport transfer is canceled, you can cancel or reschedule that airport transfer free of charge. Contact the team promptly with the affected ride and updated flight information. A new travel time still needs an available arrangement to be confirmed.

A few details before you travel

Where do we meet the driver?

The day before each confirmed ride, we email your driver’s name, phone number, and detailed meeting instructions. Read the instructions for your particular ride and use the supplied contact details. Those instructions take precedence over a general illustration or example. Contact the team if you need help finding your pickup details.

Link to this answer ↗
What are the current standard arrival instructions?

The standard arrival instructions are to text your driver after collecting your luggage. The driver waits nearby and then drives to the pickup zone. After exiting the terminal, look across toward the car-rental signs; the pickup zone is opposite those signs, on the middle lane. Your driver’s name, phone number, and detailed meeting instructions arrive by email the day before the confirmed ride. Staff can edit these instructions, so always follow the version supplied for your own ride.

What details do you need for the ride back to the airport?

Provide the exact pickup address, pickup date and time, departure flight date and time, and flight number. The pickup and flight dates may be different for an overnight departure. You are responsible for accurate travel details; ask the team to help arrange pickup if you are unsure.

Link to this answer ↗
How early should I leave for my flight?

The booking needs a chosen pickup time as well as your flight time. Ask the team to help arrange pickup if you are unsure. This knowledge base does not yet establish a universal airport-arrival buffer or a guaranteed travel time; those depend on the trip and require an approved recommendation.

Is a quoted passenger count a guarantee that our bags will fit?

No. Passenger and luggage fit, special seating, and accessibility requirements need team confirmation. Provide the complete party and equipment details before booking. Larger parties or special requirements may need a custom arrangement and price.

Link to this answer ↗
Can I request a ride for more than nine people?

Yes. The booking form accepts 1–16 travelers, including children. Groups of 10–16 need a vehicle plan and custom fare; the team can arrange up to two vans with luggage space. Ordinary rides more than 24 hours ahead confirm immediately, with the final fare sent for your approval before payment. Holiday rides follow the separate availability-confirmation process. Give full luggage details; no universal bag allowance is implied.

Link to this answer ↗
Can I request a child seat?

Yes, add the child’s age and seat requirements when planning your ride. Ordinary-date reservation confirmation can be immediate, but the team must separately confirm the seat arrangement and suitability. Ask about the type, size, installation, availability, and any fee rather than assuming a particular seat is supplied.

Link to this answer ↗
Can you accommodate mobility or accessibility needs?

Describe the assistance and equipment you need when booking, including mobility aids and their dimensions. The team must check the actual arrangement. Immediate reservation confirmation does not establish ramp access, travel while seated in a wheelchair, lifting assistance, or a particular equipment fit. Discuss those requirements with the team.

A little more context.

What time zone should I use for dates and times?

Use Aruba local time, America/Aruba (UTC−4), for all trip dates, pickup times, and flight times entered in the booking form. Check the local date carefully for flights shortly after midnight.

Link to this answer ↗
What happens with a late cancellation or no-show?

Later cancellations and no-shows are charged in full under the published terms. Do not assume how a waiting period, a disputed pickup, or a flight delay is classified; the team needs to review the facts. A canceled airport-transfer flight has a separate stated exception.

Link to this answer ↗
How do I ask to change or cancel my booking?

Reply to the booking email or email info@arubayourway.com promptly. Include your booking reference, the affected ride and date, and the change you need. A new address, time, passenger count, or requirement may need the team to check the price and suitability again. A support reply should not claim the record has changed until the team has actually processed it.

Link to this answer ↗
How do I enter a flight just after midnight?

Use the actual local flight date and a separate pickup date and time. For example, a flight at 00:30 on Tuesday may require pickup on Monday; the team must help determine an appropriate pickup time. Do not change the flight date merely to make it match the pickup date.

Let your assistant lend a hand.

An assistant can read these facts, check a plan, calculate a price and prepare a trip for you to review. With your permission, it can also send a question, create a private draft or help request a change to an existing reservation.

You review your booking and its terms on our website. Keep card details and email verification codes with the secure website, not in an assistant conversation. A quote or draft is not a booking; a change request remains pending until our team processes it.
